Correspondence
Write to us, and expect a person to answer.
There is no contact form on this page. Forms collect more than they need, sit in databases we would rather not keep, and break silently. An email address is honest about what happens to your message: it arrives, someone reads it, and it is deleted when the matter is closed.
Corrections
Something factually wrong
The fastest way to change this site. Quote the page and the sentence, and say what the correct position is. Factual corrections are made quickly and, where they are material, noted on the page.
Editorial
Suggestions and questions
Regions we have missed, questions our checklists should include, or a planning problem you could not find an answer to. We read everything, though we cannot reply to every message.
Privacy and policies
Data and legal
Requests about personal data, questions about the policies, or notices concerning content. Please put the request in the subject line so it is routed correctly.
Expectations
What we can help with
- Correcting a factual error on any page.
- Explaining how a review was put together or what a score means.
- Pointing you to the section of a page that answers a planning question.
- Handling a request about your personal data or a policy question.
- Removing your email address and correspondence from our records.
Limits
What we cannot help with
- Making, changing, confirming or cancelling any reservation — we have no access to any property's system.
- Quoting rates, checking availability or matching a price.
- Resolving a dispute with a hotel, an agency or a payment provider.
- Anything at all to do with gambling: no accounts, no deposits, no odds, no promotions, no operator introductions.
- Requests to soften, delay or withdraw an opinion in a review.
If your message is urgent
Anything time-sensitive about an actual trip — a room, a rate, a cancellation deadline, an access requirement — belongs with the property itself, not with us. We are a publication, we hold no bookings, and we are not staffed around the clock. For harm related to gambling, contact a provincial helpline directly; they are free, confidential and available at hours we are not.
Practicalities
How correspondence is handled
- Reply time — usually two to five working days. Correction reports are prioritised over everything else.
- Language — English or French; a French reply may take a day longer.
- What we keep — your message and our reply, and nothing else. No mailing list, no marketing, no sharing with any third party.
- How long — correspondence is deleted once the matter is closed, or within twelve months at the latest.
- Attachments — plain text and PDF only; anything else is discarded unopened.
Full detail sits in the privacy policy. If you would prefer to write anonymously, use any address you like — we do not verify identity and do not need to.
