1. Acceptance

By reading this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. Nothing here creates a contract between you and any property described, and nothing here obliges us to publish, keep publishing or update any particular page.

2. What this site is

majestic-rest.com is an independent editorial publication. It offers written comparisons of places to stay in Canada for general informational purposes. It is not a travel agency, a booking service, a broker, an advisor, an inspector or a representative of any hotel, resort or operator.

3. No bookings, no payments

We do not take reservations, hold rooms, quote rates, accept payments or handle cancellations, and we have no access to any property's reservation system. Any arrangement you make for accommodation is between you and the property or booking service you choose, on their terms, and we are not a party to it.

4. No gambling services

This website provides no gambling services. It accepts no wagers, deposits or registrations, operates and represents no gaming venue, and publishes no odds, betting tips, bonuses, promotional offers, affiliate links or sign-up paths. Where a property's entertainment or gaming area is mentioned in a review, it is described only as a feature of the building — its position, hours and effect on noise. Nothing on this site is an inducement to gamble. Entry to such areas in Canada requires photo identification and a minimum age of 18 or 19 depending on the province, and you are responsible for knowing and obeying the law that applies where you are.

5. Composite properties

Properties described in reviews are composites, drawn from common Canadian travel patterns and given invented names. They are illustrative planning references. They are not audits, inspections or reports on any specific business, and any resemblance between an invented name and a real trading name is coincidental. Do not rely on a review as verification of a real property.

6. Scores are opinion

Editorial scores are subjective category judgments summarising the text they accompany. They are not measurements, star classifications, industry ratings, certifications or endorsements, they are not comparable with any third party's ratings, and they carry no formula, audit or guarantee. All review text is opinion offered in good faith.

7. Accuracy and change

We write carefully, but details in the accommodation trade change constantly — rates, fees, hours, closures, ownership, facilities, accessibility measurements and age rules among them. We give no warranty that any page is current, complete or free of error, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice. Verify anything that matters directly with the property, in writing, before you travel or pay.

8. Your use of the site

• You may read, print and quote briefly from these pages with attribution and, online, a link.
• You may not republish a page substantially in full, scrape the site at scale, or present our text as your own or as a partner publication.
• You may not use this site in a way that implies endorsement by us of any property, operator or service.
• You may not attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security.

9. Intellectual property

The text, structure, layout, tables and styling of this site are our own work and remain our property. Invented property names used in reviews are ours as editorial devices. Any real trade names mentioned incidentally belong to their owners, and their use here is descriptive, not a claim of association.

10. Links

This site links to no booking engine and to no gambling operator. Where we ever link outward — for example to a public helpline or a government page — we do so because it may be useful, and we take no responsibility for content we do not control.

11. Liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on this site, including disappointing accommodation, travel disruption, additional cost, or any consequential or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which the publisher is established, and any dispute belongs to the courts of that province. If you read this site from elsewhere, you do so on your own responsibility for local law.

13. Changes to these terms
